How Auto-enroll works?

By using Dynamic On-premise or Dynamic Azure AD with the condition Joined within last specific number of days, you can create a monthly or quarterly training campaign for newcomers. Whenever each round of your training campaign starts, Phish Insight will re-evaluate the members of your Dynamic On-premise or Dynamic Azure AD group based on your current synced AD data and will use these new members as the recipients of the starting round.

Setting up and maintaining Monthly / Quarterly Training with Auto-enroll recipients

  1. Before creating the training campaign, make sure you already setup Phish Insight Active Directory Integration. You can use either:
    1. On-premise Active Directory Integration
    2. Azure Active Directory Integration
  2. After setting up Phish Insight Active Directory integration, you can now create your Dynamic group. Please note that we will only allow a dynamic group to be used in the auto-enrolled campaign if it contains the Joined within last specific number of days condition.
NOTE: Please consider the frequency of the campaign that you will create when you configure your "Joined within last" condition. Please follow these guides.
    1. Avoid creating a dynamic group with joined within more than 30 days condition for a monthly training campaign
    2. Avoid creating a dynamic group with joined within more than 90 days condition for a quarterly training campaign
  3. You can now proceed with creating the monthly or quarterly training using the dynamic group you just created.
  4. To maintain and make sure auto-enroll works properly, you need to update and re-sync your AD data to your Phish Insight account before each round starts. This will ensure your dynamic group contains your latest AD data.

Additional things you need to know about the Monthly / Quarterly Training with Auto-enroll recipients

  1. If a training round starts and there are no members in the dynamic group, the round will be automatically completed.
  2. You can setup auto-enroll with a dynamic group with Joined within last specific number of days condition even if it has no members yet.
  3. This feature is not available when you are creating a follow up training
